HubSpot AI Receptionist Integrations 2026: Which Ones Write Calls to HubSpot
Published · prices checked October 26, 2026
Key takeaways
- 8 of 18 vendors we track document a built-in HubSpot integration; Rosie costs the least of the AI receptionists among them, $149 at 5 calls a day.
- The cost column is each cheapest plan. NextPhone lists its CRM updates on Growth, $299/month for unlimited calls, not on the plan the table prices.
- The Ruby app in HubSpot's marketplace is Ruby AI, a sales tool from another company. Ruby Receptionists reaches HubSpot through Zapier.
- RingCentral flags its CRM sync line "Coming soon", and its HubSpot listing is the RingEX phone system, not the AI Receptionist.
- We read every listing and vendor page on October 27, 2026. We have not tested any connection on our own HubSpot account.
8 of 18 receptionist vendors we track document a built-in HubSpot integration on pages we read October 27, 2026, and HubSpot's own App Marketplace lists 6 of them. Of the AI receptionists among them, Rosie costs the least at 5 three-minute calls a day, $149 a month (prices checked October 26, 2026).

Our arithmetic: each vendor's cheapest published plan for that volume plus its published overage, at 3-minute calls. That plan is not always the one that carries the HubSpot connection. Taxes, setup fees, add-ons and Zapier's own subscription are not included. How we price.
"Not documented" means we found no connection, not that one is impossible. Six built-in cells are HubSpot marketplace listings; NextPhone and My AI Front Desk rest on their own pages, with no listing found. RingCentral AI Receptionist reads "Not documented": its CRM line is marked "Coming soon". The grid for every tool: which AI receptionists integrate with Clio, HubSpot, Jobber and more.
What each built-in HubSpot integration writes
Rosie: a logged call on the contact
Rosie's marketplace listing says: "Every call Rosie answers becomes a logged call on the contact's timeline in HubSpot" (HubSpot listing, read October 27, 2026). "New callers become contacts automatically," per the same listing. It requires "Professional, Scale, or Growth plans": every Rosie plan, Professional at $49/month for 250 minutes included. The catch: its shared-data table names contacts and calls, nothing about deals, owners or custom properties.
Smith.ai: a contact and a call summary, with a plan question
The Smith.ai listing says the receptionist "creates a new contact in your HubSpot account, and logs the call summary" (HubSpot listing, read October 27, 2026). Its required subscriptions name Virtual Receptionists and Live Chat plans, such as "Pro Plan - 24/7 Virtual Receptionists", and no AI Receptionist plan. Smith.ai's own page does list AI Receptionist under "Works with" (smith.ai/integrates-with/hubspot, read October 27, 2026).
A second CRM costs extra on the live plans: "We support HubSpot, Salesforce, Clio, and many more ($0.50/call per additional CRM)." (smith.ai/pricing/receptionists, read October 26, 2026). The AI pricing page names no per-CRM charge.
Abby Connect: contacts created and updated, calls and chats logged
Abby Connect's listing: "If no existing HubSpot contact is found, our system instantly creates a new one" (HubSpot listing, read October 27, 2026). Calls and chats land as activities on the contact. It requires "Essential, Professional, Growth, or Enterprise plans". Abby's Starter plan is not on that list, so the entry point for HubSpot is Essential, $329/month for 100 minutes. The listing's tagline reads "Live Receptionist Services": ask whether calls its AI receptionist answers log the same way.
My AI Front Desk: two-way contact sync
My AI Front Desk's help center: "New callers and leads your receptionist captures become HubSpot contacts, and contact changes in HubSpot flow back into Frontdesk" (help article, read October 27, 2026). The catch: the help lists "A Frontdesk account with CRM Connections enabled" as a prerequisite and does not say which plan enables it.
NextPhone: intake answers on contact properties
NextPhone's HubSpot page says it "searches HubSpot by phone number: if they are already a contact, that record gets the new call and the fresh answers" (getnextphone.com/integrations/hubspot, read October 27, 2026). Intake answers map to contact properties and an owner is assigned. That page names no plan. NextPhone's pricing page lists "Updates your CRM, including HubSpot, Clio" on the Growth card, $299/month for unlimited calls, and not on Pro (getnextphone.com/pricing, read October 26, 2026). The table's $199 is Pro. NextPhone is not in HubSpot's marketplace.
Build-your-own platforms in the marketplace
Synthflow, Retell AI and Bland each have a vendor-built HubSpot app, but you build the voice agent yourself.
Listings and claims that are not what they look like
RingCentral AI Receptionist: a "Coming soon" footnote. The FAQ on its product page names "CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zoho to capture leads and update records automatically" (ringcentral.com/ai-receptionist.html, read October 27, 2026). The same page's feature line, "Connect your CRM, scheduling, ecommerce, and messaging tools in real time", ends in an asterisk. The footnote reads "*Coming soon". We found no setup guide. HubSpot's marketplace lists "RingEX by RingCentral", the phone system, not the RingCentral AI Receptionist.
Ruby: the "Ruby" app is another company. The marketplace app named Ruby is Ruby AI, a sales-intelligence tool sold on "Navigator, Pathfinder, or Strategist plans". Ruby's own integrations page promises to "Bring new leads into HubSpot and update contact data automatically based on Ruby's interactions with your audience" with no mechanism (ruby.com/integration/hubspot, read October 27, 2026). Its help-center HubSpot article returned a 404 on the same date, so the matrix records Ruby as via Zapier.
Phonely: a marketing page without a setup document. Phonely's HubSpot page says "the system automatically creates new leads, contacts, and activities in HubSpot" (phonely.ai/integration/hubspot, read October 27, 2026). Its product docs list no HubSpot integration and it has no marketplace listing, so the matrix records via Zapier.
What "via Zapier" means for HubSpot
6 of 18 vendors we track reach HubSpot through Zapier: Dialzara, Goodcall, Phonely, Posh, Ruby and Upfirst. HubSpot's Zapier app lists 55 write actions, including "Create Contact", "Create or Update Contact" and "Create Engagement" (zapier.com/apps/hubspot, read October 27, 2026).
You build the Zap: the vendor's trigger fires when a call ends (Goodcall's "Call Complete", Upfirst's "Call Completed"), and you map its fields onto a HubSpot action. You pay Zapier, and you fix the Zap when a field changes. Ruby's trigger is "Message", a message its receptionist takes, not every call.
What to ask a vendor before you buy
- Which plan carries HubSpot? NextPhone lists CRM updates on Growth, Abby's listing leaves out Starter, Phonely's pricing page puts "CRM integrations" on Professional, $150/month for 650 minutes, and My AI Front Desk needs "CRM Connections enabled".
- Does it log calls the AI answers, or calls a person answers? Smith.ai's listing names live plans; Abby's calls itself "Live Receptionist Services".
- How does it match a returning caller? NextPhone matches by phone number, My AI Front Desk by email and phone. Rosie's listing does not say.
- Which objects does it write? Contact, call, deal, owner, custom properties: ask for the field list.
- Do spam calls reach HubSpot? NextPhone lets you sync only "new leads and booked appointments". Ask the others.
- Can you see it work first? Ask for a test call that lands in your own HubSpot account before you sign.
Which HubSpot setup fits which situation
For the lowest bill with a marketplace listing: Rosie
At 5 calls a day Rosie costs $149, the least of the four AI receptionists with a built-in HubSpot cell (Rosie, My AI Front Desk, NextPhone and Smith.ai). At 13 calls a day the 1,170 minutes pass Scale's 1,000, so Rosie moves up to Growth, $299, and NextPhone's Pro plan costs less, $199. NextPhone has no Marketplace listing and puts CRM updates on Growth, $299/month for unlimited calls. It may not fit if you need deals or custom properties written: the listing names contacts and calls.
If HubSpot edits must flow back: My AI Front Desk
My AI Front Desk costs $151.50 at 5 calls a day, less than NextPhone's $199, and documents a two-way sync. Its evidence is its own help center.
If intake answers must land on contact properties: NextPhone
NextPhone documents property mapping and owner assignment. Budget for Growth, $299/month for unlimited calls, the plan its pricing page lists CRM updates on. Its evidence is its own pages.
If you want a person on some calls: Abby Connect
Abby Connect costs $1,346.50 at 5 calls a day, less than Smith.ai Virtual Receptionists at $1,440. Both are in HubSpot's marketplace, and both bill by usage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Rosie integrate with HubSpot?
Yes. Rosie has a vendor-built app in HubSpot's App Marketplace that logs each answered call on the contact's timeline and creates new callers as contacts. The listing requires the Professional, Scale or Growth plan, which covers every Rosie plan.
Is the Ruby app in the HubSpot marketplace from Ruby Receptionists?
No. The HubSpot app named Ruby is Ruby AI, a sales-intelligence tool from another company. Ruby Receptionists' help-center HubSpot article returned a 404 on October 27, 2026, and Ruby reaches HubSpot through its Zapier app.
Does RingCentral AI Receptionist write to HubSpot?
RingCentral's product page says it can update CRM systems such as HubSpot, but the feature line carries a footnote reading "Coming soon". We found no setup guide. The RingCentral app in HubSpot's marketplace is the RingEX phone system.
Can any AI receptionist connect to HubSpot through Zapier?
Not every one. 6 of 18 vendors we track have a Zapier call trigger you can point at HubSpot's "Create Contact" action. You build and maintain the Zap and pay Zapier's subscription yourself.
How these numbers were made
Every vendor price on this page was read from the vendor's own pricing page on the date in its Source cell and saved as a dated capture. Monthly costs use each vendor's cheapest published plan for the volume plus its published overage, at 3-minute calls. Vendors that hide prices stay in the tables as quote only. We do not test answering quality and publish no ratings.

Changes to these prices
- Upfirst: cancellation notice recorded as none. Its pricing FAQ says "You can cancel, upgrade, or downgrade anytime, no questions asked," the same strength as other cancel-anytime terms. Its setup-fee summary now reads "None stated": no page says there is no fee. No price changed.
- Retell AI: corrected the transfer term. Its pricing page says "Once the call is transferred, the AI voice agent fee stops. Only the telephony fee continues for the remainder of the transferred call." The index had said the whole call was billed after a transfer. No price changed.
- My AI Front Desk: the 1,000 monthly overage credits its pricing page lists as included ("Extra credits you get each month in case you go over your included usage") now count as 40 included minutes, so Business-in-a-Box covers 240 minutes before the $0.25 rate applies (was 200).
- Phonely: its Professional plan card says 650 minutes and its comparison table 750; the card is used. When two plans tie on their lowest cost, the one with the narrower range is chosen, so Phonely at 300 calls a month prices on Professional alone.
- My AI Front Desk: billing-term summaries (billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam, setup fee, contract, trial) added from the vendor-data billing-terms and contracts files and their captures. No price changed.
- Simple Phones: billing-term summaries (billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam, setup fee, contract, trial) added from the vendor-data billing-terms and contracts files and their captures. No price changed.
- Phonely: billing-term summaries (billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam, setup fee, contract, trial) added from the vendor-data billing-terms and contracts files and their captures. No price changed.

- Synthflow: billing-term summaries (billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam, setup fee, contract, trial) added from the vendor-data billing-terms and contracts files and their captures. No price changed.
- Rosie added from its own pricing page (captured October 26, 2026), with billing terms from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 27, 2026). Rosie moves an account up a plan instead of charging overage.
- Goodcall added from its own pricing page (captured October 26, 2026), with billing terms from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 27, 2026). Goodcall bills per unique caller a month; our arithmetic counts every call as a different caller.
- Dialzara added from its own pricing page (captured October 26, 2026), with billing terms from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 27, 2026).
- Upfirst added from its own pricing page (captured October 26, 2026), with billing terms from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 27, 2026). Upfirst does not bill calls under 15 seconds or spam.
- Abby Connect Starter is now $164 a month (was $165), with extra minutes at $3.29 (was $3.30). Found in a full re-check of every source page.
- Smith.ai AI Receptionist Enterprise at 500 calls ($800, $2.10 per extra call) added from its pricing page, in a full re-check of every source page.
- Added NextPhone Pro, Growth and Scale from its public pricing page. All three plans include unlimited calls with no per-minute charge or overage fee.
- Smith.ai AI Receptionist: billing terms added.
- Ruby: 1,500, 2,000 and 2,500 minutes ($4,945, $6,400 and $7,875, overage $3.50 to $3.30 a minute) added from its help center (read October 7, 2026).
- My AI Front Desk: overage of $0.25 a minute (25 credits at $0.01) added; it was on the captured page but missing here.

- Posh: billing terms added from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 7, 2026): billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam billing, setup fee, contract and trial.
- Abby Connect: billing terms added from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 7, 2026): billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam billing, setup fee, contract and trial.
- Ruby: overage rates added from its help center ($5.40/min on the 50-minute plan down to $3.65 on 1,000 minutes), plus the 350, 750 and 1,000 minute plans published there. Ruby's pricing page still shows no overage rate.
- Abby Professional overage corrected to $2.99 per Abby Minute (its terms and help center), from $3.00 computed as price divided by minutes.
