Our arithmetic: each vendor's cheapest published plan for that volume plus its published overage, at 3-minute calls. The cost is for the receptionist; your HighLevel subscription and any Zapier plan are extra and not included, nor are taxes, setup fees and add-ons. How we price.

GoHighLevel is the destination in this table, not one of the services priced. The receptionist answers; HighLevel holds the contact, the pipeline and the workflows that fire after the call. For every tool at once, see which AI receptionists integrate with Clio, HubSpot, Jobber and more.

At 13 calls a day NextPhone's cheapest plan costs $199, less than My AI Front Desk at $331.50. But NextPhone's pricing page lists "Updates your CRM" on its Growth card, $299/month for unlimited calls, not on the Pro plan behind that number (getnextphone.com/pricing, read October 26, 2026).

What the HighLevel Marketplace actually lists

We pulled all 2,768 public apps in the HighLevel Marketplace on October 27, 2026. Four are built by a vendor we track:

App in the HighLevel MarketplaceBuilt byWhat it isInstalls
Synthflow.ai - AI Phone AssistantSynthflow.aiBuild-your-own voice platform67,823
VapiVapiBuild-your-own voice platform33,484
RetellRetellBuild-your-own voice platform4,412
My AI Front DeskMy AI Front DeskAI receptionist191

Third parties sell connectors for the same platforms: "Vapi for Workflows" and "Retell Ai" by All The Apps, and the Sympana Connector. These are not built by Vapi or Retell, so a break on either side is the connector maker's to fix. No app turned up for Smith.ai, Abby Connect, NextPhone, Rosie, Goodcall, Upfirst or Phonely.

What each built-in connection writes into HighLevel

My AI Front Desk: an appointment on a HighLevel calendar

My AI Front Desk's help article describes one job: "Connect your GoHighLevel account to Frontdesk so your AI receptionist can book appointments directly on a GoHighLevel calendar" (help article, read October 27, 2026). The caller gets an SMS confirmation. The article does not describe writing contacts, tags or opportunities, so ask before you count on them.

Abby Connect: a contact and a staged opportunity

Abby Connect says "each caller lands in HighLevel as a contact and pipeline opportunity" (abby.com/integration/gohighlevel, read October 27, 2026). An existing customer gets a note on their contact and no duplicate opportunity. Setup is done for you: "Onboarding connects HighLevel (your account or each client sub-account) and maps pipelines, stages, and tags with you."

Abby runs live and AI receptionists, and its page says both "log to HighLevel the same way". The catch is the price: $1,346.50 at 5 calls a day, billed by the minute. Abby is not in the HighLevel Marketplace.

Smith.ai: a contact and a call note

Smith.ai's page marks the integration "Native" and says: "If no contact exists, a new contact is created as a lead, and a note with the call details is added" (smith.ai/integrates-with/highlevel, read October 27, 2026). An existing contact is updated with the same note. Unlike several Smith.ai integration pages, this one lists AI Receptionist under "Works with". It names no opportunity or pipeline stage.

NextPhone: a tagged contact per sub-account

NextPhone's page says it "pushes the contact into their sub-account with the right tags" (getnextphone.com/integrations/gohighlevel, read October 27, 2026). Each client gets its own greeting and questions, and you choose which call outcomes sync. The page names no plan, and NextPhone has no Marketplace app.

The build-your-own platforms

Vapi's tools look up a contact, create one, check calendar availability and create an event; its docs note that an event needs a contact ID first (docs.vapi.ai, read October 27, 2026). Retell's contact sync logs each conversation as a note on the contact. Its docs warn: "A missing scope never flags the connection when sync is what hits it; the affected part of sync silently stops working." (docs.retellai.com, same date). Synthflow imports HighLevel sub-accounts and calendars for booking. You write the agent on all three.

What "via Zapier" means for GoHighLevel

8 of 18 vendors we track reach HighLevel through Zapier: Bland, Dialzara, Goodcall, Phonely, Posh, Rosie, Ruby and Upfirst. HighLevel's app on Zapier is called LeadConnector, and the write step that files a caller is its "Add/Update Contact" action (zapier.com/apps/leadconnector, read October 27, 2026).

That app lists 8 write actions: contacts, opportunities, tasks, messages, accounts, and adding or stopping workflows and campaigns. None of them creates a calendar appointment. A receptionist that books calls through Zapier can create the contact and the opportunity in HighLevel, but the booking itself has to live elsewhere.

You build each Zap, per sub-account if you run an agency, and pay Zapier for the tasks it runs. When a field changes on either side, the Zap is yours to fix.

What to ask before you buy

  • Who built the connection? A Marketplace app from the vendor, the vendor's own onboarding team, or a third-party connector.
  • What lands in HighLevel? Contact, note, tags, opportunity, pipeline stage, calendar appointment. My AI Front Desk documents the appointment; Abby documents the opportunity; Smith.ai and NextPhone document contacts.
  • How do sub-accounts work? Abby and NextPhone describe one setup per client. Ask whether each client line is a separate subscription.
  • Which plan carries it? NextPhone lists CRM updates on Growth. My AI Front Desk's article names no plan.
  • What happens when a scope or token expires? Retell documents silent failure; ask every vendor how you find out.
  • Can you watch one call land? Ask for a test call into a sub-account you control.

Which GoHighLevel setup fits which situation

Agencies that sell pipeline follow-up: Abby Connect

Abby documents a contact plus a staged, tagged opportunity per caller, built during onboarding, live by day and AI overnight if you want. It costs $1,346.50 at 5 calls a day, and it has no Marketplace app.

Booking straight onto a HighLevel calendar: My AI Front Desk

Of the AI receptionists we price, My AI Front Desk has the vendor-built Marketplace app, and it costs $151.50 at 5 calls a day. Its 191 installs are small next to the platforms. Its help article covers the calendar, not contact writes.

Tagged contacts at a flat price at 13 calls a day and up: NextPhone

NextPhone's plans carry unlimited calls, and its GoHighLevel page documents tagged contacts per sub-account. With the CRM line on Growth, budget $299/month for unlimited calls. Its evidence is its own page, not a Marketplace app.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does My AI Front Desk integrate with GoHighLevel?

Yes. My AI Front Desk has its own app in the HighLevel Marketplace, connected with OAuth, and its help center describes booking appointments on a GoHighLevel calendar during a call. The article does not describe writing contacts or opportunities.

Can an AI receptionist create opportunities in GoHighLevel?

Abby Connect documents a contact and a pipeline opportunity, staged and tagged, for every new caller, set up during onboarding. Through Zapier, LeadConnector's "Add/Update Opportunity" action can do the same from a receptionist with a Zapier call trigger, in a Zap you build.

Can a Zapier Zap book an appointment in GoHighLevel?

Not with LeadConnector's Zapier app as listed on October 27, 2026. Its 8 write actions cover contacts, opportunities, tasks, messages and workflows, with no calendar action. Native connections such as My AI Front Desk's book on a HighLevel calendar directly.

Do Rosie and Goodcall work with GoHighLevel?

Through Zapier. Rosie and Goodcall both have Zapier call triggers that can feed LeadConnector's "Add/Update Contact" action. Neither documents a direct GoHighLevel connection or has a HighLevel Marketplace app.

Are the Vapi and Retell apps in the HighLevel Marketplace made by Vapi and Retell?

Two apps are: "Vapi" by Vapi and "Retell" by Retell. "Vapi for Workflows" and "Retell Ai" are made by All The Apps, and the Sympana Connector by Sympana LLC. Vapi and Retell are build-your-own voice platforms, not ready-made receptionists.

How these numbers were made

Every vendor price on this page was read from the vendor's own pricing page on the date in its Source cell and saved as a dated capture. Monthly costs use each vendor's cheapest published plan for the volume plus its published overage, at 3-minute calls. Vendors that hide prices stay in the tables as quote only. We do not test answering quality and publish no ratings.

Changes to these prices

  • Upfirst: cancellation notice recorded as none. Its pricing FAQ says "You can cancel, upgrade, or downgrade anytime, no questions asked," the same strength as other cancel-anytime terms. Its setup-fee summary now reads "None stated": no page says there is no fee. No price changed.
  • Retell AI: corrected the transfer term. Its pricing page says "Once the call is transferred, the AI voice agent fee stops. Only the telephony fee continues for the remainder of the transferred call." The index had said the whole call was billed after a transfer. No price changed.
  • My AI Front Desk: the 1,000 monthly overage credits its pricing page lists as included ("Extra credits you get each month in case you go over your included usage") now count as 40 included minutes, so Business-in-a-Box covers 240 minutes before the $0.25 rate applies (was 200).
  • Phonely: its Professional plan card says 650 minutes and its comparison table 750; the card is used. When two plans tie on their lowest cost, the one with the narrower range is chosen, so Phonely at 300 calls a month prices on Professional alone.
  • My AI Front Desk: billing-term summaries (billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam, setup fee, contract, trial) added from the vendor-data billing-terms and contracts files and their captures. No price changed.

  • Rosie added from its own pricing page (captured October 26, 2026), with billing terms from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 27, 2026). Rosie moves an account up a plan instead of charging overage.
  • Goodcall added from its own pricing page (captured October 26, 2026), with billing terms from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 27, 2026). Goodcall bills per unique caller a month; our arithmetic counts every call as a different caller.
  • Dialzara added from its own pricing page (captured October 26, 2026), with billing terms from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 27, 2026).
  • Upfirst added from its own pricing page (captured October 26, 2026), with billing terms from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 27, 2026). Upfirst does not bill calls under 15 seconds or spam.

  • Smith.ai AI Receptionist Enterprise at 500 calls ($800, $2.10 per extra call) added from its pricing page, in a full re-check of every source page.
  • Added NextPhone Pro, Growth and Scale from its public pricing page. All three plans include unlimited calls with no per-minute charge or overage fee.
  • Smith.ai AI Receptionist: billing terms added.
  • Ruby: 1,500, 2,000 and 2,500 minutes ($4,945, $6,400 and $7,875, overage $3.50 to $3.30 a minute) added from its help center (read October 7, 2026).

  • Posh: billing terms added from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 7, 2026): billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam billing, setup fee, contract and trial.
  • Abby Connect: billing terms added from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 7, 2026): billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam billing, setup fee, contract and trial.
  • Ruby: overage rates added from its help center ($5.40/min on the 50-minute plan down to $3.65 on 1,000 minutes), plus the 350, 750 and 1,000 minute plans published there. Ruby's pricing page still shows no overage rate.
  • Abby Professional overage corrected to $2.99 per Abby Minute (its terms and help center), from $3.00 computed as price divided by minutes.
