Dialzara Pricing 2026: Plans, Per-Second Minutes and What Happens at Zero
Published · prices checked October 26, 2026
Key takeaways
- At 3, 5 and 13 three-minute calls a day, Dialzara costs $121.50, $199 and $408.50 a month on its cheapest plan for each volume.
- Overage is opt-in. Without auto-recharge, callers go straight to voicemail once the minutes hit zero; our costs assume you opt in.
- The pricing page says "Cancel anytime"; the terms say no refund of the price you paid, and cancelling ends service on the effective date.
- Business Lite, the entry plan, has no warm transfers, no Spanish and no calendar sync, per Dialzara's own plan comparison.
Dialzara starts at $29/month (60 minutes), and 5 three-minute calls a day cost $199 a month on its cheapest plan for that volume (prices checked October 26, 2026). It meters talk time to the second, and what happens past the allowance is your choice: pay overage, or send callers to voicemail.
Dialzara pricing plans
Prices checked against each vendor's own pricing page on October 26, 2026.
| Plan | Price and allowance | Past the allowance | The math |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business Lite | $29/month for 60 minutes | $0.48 a minute | $29 ÷ 60 min = $0.48/min |
| Business Pro | $99/month for 220 minutes | $0.45 a minute | $99 ÷ 220 min = $0.45/min |
| Business Plus | $199/month for 500 minutes | $0.40 a minute | $199 ÷ 500 min = $0.40/min |
| Business Elite | $349/month for 1,000 minutes | $0.35 a minute | $349 ÷ 1,000 min = $0.35/min |
Our arithmetic: each vendor's cheapest published plan for that volume plus its published overage, at 3-minute calls. Taxes, setup fees and add-ons are not included. How we price.
The four plans are not the same product at different sizes. Dialzara's own comparison table on the pricing page marks these features by plan:
| Feature | Lite | Pro | Plus | Elite |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blind call transfers | yes | yes | yes | yes |
| Warm call transfers | no | yes | yes | yes |
| After-hours rules and escalation | no | yes | yes | yes |
| Bilingual (EN/ES) | no | yes | yes | yes |
| Calendar sync | no | yes | yes | yes |
| Knowledge base uploads | 5 | 10 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Multi-agent or multi-location | no | no | yes | yes |
Read from dialzara.com/pricing, October 27, 2026. A managed "Done for You!" service sits above Elite, "Starting at $1,500+ per month", priced by quote.
What Dialzara costs at 3, 5 and 13 calls a day
At 3 minutes a call, 3 calls a day is 270 minutes a month. That is past Business Pro's 220, so the bill is $99/month for 220 minutes plus 50 minutes at $0.45 a minute: $121.50.
At 5 a day, 450 minutes fit inside Business Plus, $199/month for 500 minutes. At 13 a day, 1,170 minutes pass Business Elite's 1,000, so the bill is $349/month for 1,000 minutes plus 170 minutes at $0.35 a minute: $408.50.
| Calls a day | Calls a month | Monthly cost | Per call | A year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 | 90 | $121.50 | $1.35 a call | $1,458 |
| 5 | 150 | $199 | $1.33 a call | $2,388 |
| 13 | 390 | $408.50 | $1.05 a call | $4,902 |
Unlike flat plans, Dialzara's bill climbs at every step: per call it barely falls, from $1.35 a call to $1.05 a call.
Dialzara's estimator against the cheapest plan
The pricing page has a usage estimator. At its default settings it shows "Estimated minutes:150" and "Recommended plan:Business Pro", which is $99/month for 220 minutes.
150 minutes is 50 three-minute calls. Our cheapest-plan arithmetic prices those same 50 calls on Business Lite plus overage: $72.20.
Both numbers are right for different buyers. Lite plus overage only works with auto-recharge on, and it gives up warm transfers, Spanish and calendar sync. If you want those, or want no overage at all, the estimator's Pro is the plan to price.
How Dialzara counts a minute
- Billing unit: Per minute, in monthly minute bundles
- Rounding: Per second, no rounding up
- Time billed beyond the call: Live talk time only
- Spam and short calls: Not published
- Setup fee: None
- Contract: Month-to-month
- Trial: 7 days free
The pricing page FAQ: "Only live talk time while connected to a caller. Usage tracked to the second - partial minutes are not rounded up." (dialzara.com/pricing, read October 27, 2026)
A 20-second wrong number uses 20 seconds of the allowance. On Rosie, which rounds each call up to a full minute, it would use 60. Dialzara publishes no rule for spam calls.
When the minutes run out: overage or voicemail
Overage is not automatic. Dialzara emails you at 15 minutes left "so you can turn on auto-recharge or buy extra minutes a la carte." Then: "If it hits zero, callers go straight to voicemail." (dialzara.com/pricing, read October 27, 2026)
That works two ways. With auto-recharge off, the bill never goes past the plan price, and callers past the allowance reach voicemail, not the AI. With it on, you pay the plan's overage rate, which our costs assume.
Bought minutes keep: "Any additional minutes purchased do not expire and carry forward until used." (same FAQ, read October 27, 2026)

Fees, contract and trial
- Setup fee: "No setup fees. No long-term contracts. Cancel anytime." (pricing page footer)
- Phone number: the plan cards say "All plans include" a "US-based phone number (local or toll-free options)". The pricing FAQ says "US and Canada local numbers are $3/month. US toll-free numbers are $5/month." Ask which applies before you sign.
- Your own number: "Yes. Number porting is free." (dialzara.com/faqs, read October 27, 2026)
- Spanish: the comparison table marks Bilingual (EN/ES) on Pro, Plus and Elite. The FAQ answers "Do you support English and Spanish?" with "Yes. Available on Pro and Plus."
- Trial: "7-day free trial for new subscribers" (dialzara.com/terms-of-use, read October 27, 2026).
- Annual billing: "Annual pricing available.", without a published annual price.
Quotes from dialzara.com/pricing, read October 27, 2026, unless named otherwise.
Cancelling: the pricing page and the terms disagree
The pricing page: "No contract. Cancel anytime." The terms of use: "We do not offer refunds on any purchases made of the digital products offered on our website." (dialzara.com/terms-of-use, read October 27, 2026)
The full terms add the timing: "THE CANCELLATION OF THE AUTOMATIC RENEWAL OF YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY." On that date, "YOU WILL NO LONGER RECEIVE THE ITEMS OR SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE SUBSCRIPTION" (Dialzara terms of service, read October 27, 2026).
Read together, cancelling mid-month can end service at once with the month already paid. Cancel near the renewal date, after your calls are forwarded elsewhere.
The catch
- Running out means voicemail. Leave auto-recharge off and every caller past the allowance reaches voicemail. On Business Pro that happens after 73 three-minute calls in a month.
- The entry plan is a cut-down product. Business Lite has no warm transfers, no Spanish and no calendar sync, per Dialzara's comparison table. The first plan with all three is $99/month for 220 minutes.
- The phone number may cost extra. The plan cards include a number; the FAQ prices one at $3 a month. The two lines sit on the same page.
- No refund on cancelling. The terms rule out refunds and end service on the cancellation date.
- Usage climbs at every step. Doubling from 13 to 26 calls a day changes the bill by +$409.50. Over the same step, NextPhone's bill does not move.
Where Dialzara is a good buy
At 3 calls a day Dialzara costs $121.50, less than RingCentral AI Receptionist, Rosie, Smith.ai AI Receptionist and NextPhone at that volume. It costs more than Upfirst's $59.95, and more than Goodcall, Phonely and My AI Front Desk at that volume.
Per-second billing suits short calls, and a line you want capped: with overage off, the bill is the plan price. Bought minutes never lapse, which helps a seasonal business.

One full-time receptionist on the BLS median wage costs $4,399 a month with benefits and turnover, 10.8 times Dialzara at 13 calls a day: hire vs AI receptionist.

How these numbers were made
Every vendor price on this page was read from the vendor's own pricing page on the date in its Source cell and saved as a dated capture. Monthly costs use each vendor's cheapest published plan for the volume plus its published overage, at 3-minute calls. The in-house figure uses the BLS median wage for receptionists over 2,080 paid hours (paid leave included), other employer benefit costs and turnover, each from the BLS release named below. Vendors that hide prices stay in the tables as quote only. We do not test answering quality and publish no ratings.

Changes to these prices
- Upfirst: cancellation notice recorded as none. Its pricing FAQ says "You can cancel, upgrade, or downgrade anytime, no questions asked," the same strength as other cancel-anytime terms. Its setup-fee summary now reads "None stated": no page says there is no fee. No price changed.
- My AI Front Desk: the 1,000 monthly overage credits its pricing page lists as included ("Extra credits you get each month in case you go over your included usage") now count as 40 included minutes, so Business-in-a-Box covers 240 minutes before the $0.25 rate applies (was 200).
- Phonely: its Professional plan card says 650 minutes and its comparison table 750; the card is used. When two plans tie on their lowest cost, the one with the narrower range is chosen, so Phonely at 300 calls a month prices on Professional alone.
- My AI Front Desk: billing-term summaries (billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam, setup fee, contract, trial) added from the vendor-data billing-terms and contracts files and their captures. No price changed.
- Phonely: billing-term summaries (billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam, setup fee, contract, trial) added from the vendor-data billing-terms and contracts files and their captures. No price changed.
- RingCentral AI Receptionist: billing-term summaries (billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam, setup fee, contract, trial) added from the vendor-data billing-terms and contracts files and their captures. No price changed.
- Rosie added from its own pricing page (captured October 26, 2026), with billing terms from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 27, 2026). Rosie moves an account up a plan instead of charging overage.
- Goodcall added from its own pricing page (captured October 26, 2026), with billing terms from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 27, 2026). Goodcall bills per unique caller a month; our arithmetic counts every call as a different caller.

- Upfirst added from its own pricing page (captured October 26, 2026), with billing terms from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 27, 2026). Upfirst does not bill calls under 15 seconds or spam.
- Smith.ai AI Receptionist Enterprise at 500 calls ($800, $2.10 per extra call) added from its pricing page, in a full re-check of every source page.
- Added NextPhone Pro, Growth and Scale from its public pricing page. All three plans include unlimited calls with no per-minute charge or overage fee.
- Smith.ai AI Receptionist: billing terms added.
- My AI Front Desk: overage of $0.25 a minute (25 credits at $0.01) added; it was on the captured page but missing here.
- Smith.ai AI Receptionist: billing terms added from its terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 7, 2026): billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam billing, setup fee, contract and trial.
